To Kari, Christa, and Tony... It's hard to have to words to tell you how much we loved and treasured our friendship with Mary (and Bill.) She was full of adventure and loved nature and wanted to experience all the good things life had to offer. She loved her God, her family and her friends, and richly blessed all that knew her. She was special gift from God..and we have been truly blessed to call her...OUR FRIEND.. Be comforted, knowing that she is in the arms of her loving savior, that she longed for us all to know. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of your sweet mother... she will be greatly missed.

Kari, Krista and Tony - I will always remember when your parents joined FBC Ellisville the same Sunday we did - Summer 1984. From the moment I met your mother I knew she was going to be special in my life. How thankful and blessed we were to call your mother and dad our friends and brother and sister in Christ. Now as you continue your journey in life, know how much your mother loved each of you and the many memories that have been made. I can't thank you enough for letting me spend the sweet precious time this last month with your mom. Though she is greatly missed, the lessons of how to live life will always be with many. Loving each of you and thank you for your love to me.

We saw Mary in Branson last July for a brief visit. So glad we were able to make a connection with her. We had our graddaughters'(Mike's girls), with us. Words can't express our sadness at your loss. This is just more than you should have to bear. Our hearts and our prayers go out to you.

Randy and I had the privilege of staying with Mary and Bill a couple of times. They loved showing us around the town and we enjoyed being with them. They are truly an inspiration to us and will be missed. We are praying for the family that God will continue to comfort and bless them.

I'll always remember your Mom's sense of humor, her laughter, and willingness to play games for hours on end with all the nieces and nephews during the rare Fugate family gatherings of our childhoods. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Kari, Christa, Tony and family-
Your Mom was such an inspiration to us. Her smile, her positive- 'can do' attitude, her love for Jesus, her concern for others. At the time she was diagnosed with this latest cancer I called to talk to her and before we said goodbye she asked how SHE could pray for me. That was Mary's heart--always caring for others. And so she loved each of you more than life, and her deepest desire was that she and your Dad would spend eternity with you. They are rejoicing in the presence of Jesus and I'm so grateful for each of you precious children and grandchildren that blessed their days here on earth.

Family of Mary Phillips, You have our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother/Grandmother. Mary was one of the sweetest people we have ever met. She was always cheerful and brought a smile to the face of anyone she met. We knew Mary and your Dad when they lived in Hidden Shores at Table Rock. May God bless all of you and know that you are in our prayers.

Kari, Christa, Tony and familes: Our hearts and our prayers are with you in your loss of your precious Mother. She was so very special to us and has left us with such sweet memories. She and your Dad have been such an integral part of our lives for many years. We have laughed together, cried together, prayed together, and even played together. Their passing has left such a void in our lives, but we feel so blessed to have shared our lives with both of your parents. The way they loved the Lord was evident in how they lived and the way they both faced death truly set an example for many of us. Their courage and their faith never wavered. We pray you will find comfort in the knowledge that they are together again and this time for all eternity. We miss them so very much!

I have known of Mary for many years through working with her sister Ramona. I had the privilege of getting to know her personally a few years ago and will always think of her as being one of the most fun-loving people I have ever met. She loved to laugh and just made you happy to be around her. Even though my acquaintance with Mary was short, she has made a lasting impression on my life and I am grateful that our lives crossed paths.

Mary is my little sister, I love her and shall miss her greatly. We were friends and enjoyed one another , doing things together ( traveling, camping, playing cards and games WOW is she ever competitive? We shared a common faith in God, reading and love for our families, especially those grandchildren. She was fun, a servant, a friend to so many. My boys loved aunt Mary. My husband, Rusty, loved her like a sister. She showed us how to live and how to die. No more suffering for Mary, thank you Jesus, she is with you. I love you sis, you were my inspiration for so many things. Ramona Romines

Every time I think of Mary I see a women full of zest and life. Mary was an inspiration to me in the very short time I was able to be with her. Mary was one to go and conquer, and she has influenced me to never stop doing what the Lord wants me to do. Thank you Lord for sharing one of your dear servants with us.
To the family may God continue to raise up individuals in your homes to serve the Lord with strength and determination no matter the odds. May Mary be a strong remembrance in what God can do in your life.

To Mary's Family: In the short time that we knew Mary, she was a very sweet christian lady, loved the Lord and we grew to love her. We witnessed her love for Bill and how they both dealt with their illness. We will miss her sweet smile, but know she is rejoicing where she is now.

To Mary's Family,
It was always a treat to be around your mom! She was witty, had a great sense of humor, a contagious personality, a motivator, and a very pretty lady with a spunky attitude which I always admired!
Above all, in Sunday's sermon, Nolan focused on the fruits of the Spirit...love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. With the mention of each "fruit" I couldn't help but think, "Yes, that's Mary; all of them were MARY!"
I loved playing "Quiggler" with her. You could just see the wheels spinning in her head. If any of us questioned the validity of a word, we'd just ask her. She was our "walking dictionary" and seldom even had to think about it before she either "zonked" it or gave her nod of approval.
You were truly blessed to have such a mother; those of us who knew her were blessed to call her a friend.
We'll all miss her sweet spirit and sunshiny personality.
Love & prayers to all of you,
Anita Boedecker (South Gate)

Dear Family,
I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your precious mother. Mary and I taught young girls in the youth department at FBC-Ellisville. She was so dedicated to her girls, and she was so much fun to be with. What a smile and laugh she had! She and Bill were a wonderful pair! Christa, I am so glad you let me come in and see Mary last week. She still had those beautiful blue eyes and sweet smile. What a wonderful Christian lady. She will be missed by so many people! I pray that God wraps your family in His loving arms and gives you peace and comfort as you deal with your loss. Thanks for sharing Mary with us.
Love,
Sharon McCarthy

To Mary's dear family,
I met Mary in our Sunday School Class at South Gate Baptist Church where she impressed me for her great faith and knowledge of the Bible. Then she took over the lead for our women's ministry, Circle of Love. She came up with so many good ideas plus she found ways to make us laugh and enjoy the fun fellowship found in the family of God.
Many people loved and admired her. I know she will be so very missed by you all but remember she is in the company of the Lord and that is such a wonderful comfort.

Aunt Mary was a strong woman of faith. She had such a gentle spirit, and was lots of fun to be around. I remember being so excited one time because she was coming to town, and staying with us for a few days. That same day, I picked up a splinter in a finger. She sat down with me, talked me through it, and pulled the splinter out for me. She was so gentle about it, and it was easy to trust her. I always enjoyed witnessing the closeness that she had with her sister and brothers. I will miss her greatly.
